MF 2009 Calendar Project

Jurgen, you'll be pleased to know I have got my positives and negatives together to send off to Marc this week. My apologies for the delay. I will email you a copy the shooting data I include in the package for Marc for the 3 or 4 images so that have if for whichever image you select. :)

BUT what a shame I did not have the 1600F at the time I shot the old houses!! :( I might just go looking for another run down house........ Cheers. :)
 
I have just had a look at Marc's post #95 and the shot he took - wonderful!! A really terrific and unusual image that will come up really well in the calendar. Well done Marc.
 
THIS IS NOT A FORGOTTEN PROJECT

I did not pick up this thread earlier , because I did not want to put pressure on those members , who would like to participate in this calendar project .

Now , I think , there was plenty of time to take some shots .
And I am shure , you have thousands of shots but you are just too shy to send them to me .:)

Up to now , I have received images from MARC (wintertime image) , WILKO
and SIMON's images are on DVD , on the way to me . I have two images , to participate .

All together I would like to receive 14 images .
And I am thinking of images from : MANU , COLIN (agripix) , GERARD , FROZENTIME and also CHRISTIF and of course of many more .

COST : I am prepared to print a calendar for 14 memebers (who send images) for free . What I would like , is , that these 14 members would participate in the postage cost .

If there should be more members , we will have to discuss the this "cost question" .
I need to know , who would like to participate , because I also have to organize a suitible box to pack and send the calendar .

Here again the detailed information , how your image data should look like and how they can be sent .

Thank you for the reminder. I didn't forget about this project. Will send you my proposal in two weeks or so something, most probably a summer shot.

I am glad to see this project is again under everybodies attention.

My arithmethic is pretty poor but I think some more participants and pictures will be welcome to give Jürgen a chance to select the best from the best.

Thanks Jurgen. Mine ship out on Monday. I'm hoping you'll have 2 good usable images among those I send on the DVD.

As expected, Marc's scans are superb! :)

Your reminder is wise; I just cannot believe we are into July now - so unless we all act quickly, your wonderful project will be in trouble and we'll be a year older!! :).

Jurgen, OZ boatmail will make it by 2010 I'm sure; Deutsche boatmail by 2011 and British boat mail by 3011!! :)

Marc, your post #95 and the "winter house" has great tonality - is some of that achieved in post processing?

I am quite relieved there is still a chance the parcel I send you on the 29th of April this year will end up someday with you.
Are British boats equipped with a TomTom to navigate?

I guess next delivery will be in person as long as surcharges for fuel cost are less than the standard price for an air ticket.

Like this guy . But I am not trying to use MS VISTA , but I am waiting for your images on DVD to arrive . Hopefully the kangoos did not steel the letter . I know , they always like to play a trick on post employees .

No more jokes now . Post the DVD ! ! ! :)

I'm told that our surface mail is very efficient - the kangaroos get the mail to the northern shores where our White Pointer sharks take it from there!!

I didn't get out yesterday as my pancreas decided a day at home was in order. So I'm off to the post office today. :)
 
Manu has sent an image using SEND THIS FILE . The download was very fast .

I am very delighted to receive that image . Please send the other personal data via PM .

I am hoping that Eduardo (uaiomex) , Colin (agripix) , gerard , frozen_time and Cristif will also send images .

Hey you guys , that would just be great and a wonderful diversion from the 50MP/60MP speculations .

Jürgen needs the pictures before the end of August.

It looks a long way to go but time flies.

A good reason to get those pictures now and send them this week.

Here is very good news . The DVD with 11 images from kangerooland has arrived . I have already offloaded all of them .

Many , many thanks to Marc , who has done a really great scanner job .

And many thanks also to Simon for taking the images and sending the DVD .

It will not be easy to decide which ones of these 11 images I should choose .

The above said should encourage the other memebers to get their fingers on the release button and then send their images .:z04_photos:

I want to echo Jurgen's comments and thanks to Marc. I'm very grateful to Marc for taking so much time to do a beautiful job of the scans - we all know how much time it takes to do top professional MF scans. And he did them so quickly getting the film and disck back to me in an instant.

Now that Jurgen has been getting images and I've finally got mine off to him, the 2009 calendar is giving me a big buzz!! :)

I love Jurgen's idea of we "square" shooters coming together in a professional quality internmational calendar - and a rather "multi-cultural" one at that - Hasselblad V series shooters with a common passion!! :)

So, to all others who were enthusiastic when Jurgen first revealed his great idea and plan for the calendar, I encourage you to get some files to him ASAP. To miss out would be a great shame!
 
Just a reminder:

Every participant will receive a unique calendar handcrafted using only the best materials available.

I happen to have an earlier sample of Jürgens art work and can only say he does an excellent job.

Spot on Paul. I have one hanging in my office and everybody comments favourably about it!

But Jurgen's 2009 calendar project is especially unique - images shot exclusively with Hasselblad 6x6 V series equipment; a collection of shooters from around the world; and a very clever topic!!

Too good to not have an image in!
