Film/digital looks

I have these 2 lady architects as customers that almost always can tell the difference even on a laptop screen. They prefer the quality of film. I constantly argue with them that I can't see if one is better or the other, but they prefer film captures. Suffice to say 6x9 film scanned on a flatbed Epson against 5D raws. Practically my other customers couldn't care less or can't see any difference.
Eduardo

Thanks.

If the images from the CFV back are anything to go by, I think there should be no problems capturing the colours in MF digital. Every CFV image I have seen here makes it impossible for me to determine if the capture was film or digital!

My shot was taken after sunrise on a bloody cold morning! The light was actually pink, so Provia captured it very well.

:)

Whatever, the tonality is superb and the sharpness is excellent. So, in the end the scan quality was excellent by any measure!

Keep them coming! :)

Well at the risk of making Commendatore Enzo Ferrari turn in his grave, the V 12 might be dead!!

The W12 has arrived!! Yes, super turbine like power under the hoods of the glorious Bentley Continental GT - couretesy of VW! :)

Go to love the irony! :) :) :)

A disgrace that Bentley ended up in the hands of VW.

Like a Rolls Royce powered by BMW, this is pure sacrilege.

My V 12 is very much alive and the 599 Fiorano is doing well...

I was under the impression you have a steady hand Gary........
Paul

Not me.....if it doesn't have image stabilization, it's gotta be on a tripod. That, together with my increasingly bad eyesight.....god help me if I have to switch to autofocus lenses someday. Maybe that's where V12 popped up?!? :z04_975:

Steady she goes

Hi Gary,

Never seen an unsteady shot from you yet.
I suppose you only show us the good ones, like we all do. :z04_carrot:

The days of cars with large engines seem to be over.
No more diesel V8 for makers of prestige cars in Germany.
Six cylinder diesel cars are faster now than older V8 cars with gasoline engines.
Engineering progress has ended the need for diesel V8s.

Good God Paul,
Imagine the sacrilege if the legendary Swedish Hasselblad cameras were made by the Japanese!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

Hi everyone

To make the forum a little bit more spicy, uploaded some skate photos shot with my CFV.

i shot them with a 80 cfe and a 150 cf

I´m a house photographer for a company in norway, they sell skate/snow stuff, I also free lance a lot.

I like the second one a lot. As a scandinavian and former skateboarder, I can almost smell the cold air in that shot. Night skating in cold weather was the best. Nice work...
