whats a good flash right now for h3d2 50

Metz Adapter 3000/300

Good question!

With adapter cable SCA3000 the SCA 3902 adapter is compatible with older Metz systems like the 45CL4 and the 60CT4.

For 45CT4/4504 you need to the check serial number of the unit.
From 205180 onwards the SCA 3000 cable is an option.
Older units may be adapted to make use of the SCA 3000 and the SCA3902 possible.

Good!

Excellent you found out so fast you have a defective viewfinder. :z04_head_wall:

I can only say that I understand your disappointment about having a camera with a problem.
It will only be a real problem if Hasselblad does not see to this problem right away.
As it stands I have full confidence this matter will be taken care of in a professional way.

Do I need to say that modern equipment with all its possibilities is only tested for a limited amount of its functions?

Please let us know how this matter was handled by your supplier and or Hasselblad UK?

I am not certain what your country of residence is.
If you live in the US, call me at 973-227-7320 x209 or e-mail at pclaesson@hasselbladusa.com

If not, i can put in touch with the appropriate Hasselblad subsidiary.

I have to ask the most obvious question.

Did you set the 76 MZ to TTL?

"76m5 flashes too hot h3d2 50..and ttl not working"
This indicates that the flash is firing, correct? So is flash set to A (Automatic)?, M (Manual)? TTL, another setting?

You do not indicate exposure, Aperture and shutter speed, camera to subject distance, both are important for me to know. Also what is reflectivity of the subject, those of you that have used TTL know that a flash or ISO compensation is necessary in a few situations, as an example shooting a dark subject against a dark background or light (white) subject (object) against a light background. I won't get into a lengthy explanation...

On the SCA 3903 adapter, as you rotate the locking wheel there is a pin that extends out from the shoe base, if the SCA module is inserted properly into the hotshoe this pin should be enter into the hole towards the front of the hotshoe on the HVD90x viewfinder. This insures proper alignment of the pins on the SCA to the hotshoe contacts on the viewfinder.

gees...hassy now days ...quality?????
Of course i am biased, but i do believe that the quality of our products is excellent as is our service and support that we provide our users.

an interesting question. I have been trying to find out myself with Metz a while ago; however, it was not clear to me. I use both the Metz 54 MZ-3 and the latest Metz 54 MZ-4i. Both work in an identical fashion, in combination with eiter film or digital. I am using them with different SCA modules on Leica SLR (film based), Hasselblad H1 (film based) and Rolleiflex 6008 AF (both film and digital based). When shooting digital, however, I was advised not to use the TTL mode but rather the automatic one (as the digital back does not reflect light the same way as film).
