A curiosity is the right dark blue finder mask for the 500mm lens .
An absolute nonsense . All people who see it and try to use it suffer a serious laughter attac .

Hello Jürgen,
I did some research on the beautifully engineered 500 mask that you have.
Besides being indispensable for fast shots with the 500C lens I guess it was meant to be used with a pinhole lens.
There is a strong resemblance between the pinhole and the mask for the 500 lens.
I have written to the Hasselblad after sales department to find out if the rumour about this mask is true.
More news in a little while.

are you sure that there still is a "Hasselblad after sales department"? After trying to get answers on a specific older Flextight scanner without success I bought a refurbished Nikon 8000. Maybe I am not a good enough customer with my few battered Hasselblads.
BTW, a bright screen and a magnifying hood can give a visible viewfinder image even with a pinhole.

I suppose you tried Hasselblad Ahrensburg or Hasselblad Götheborg to get some answers.
The thing is you need to find a small import branch with short direct lines to after sales staff.
Most of my questions are answered by Hasselblad San Marino.
Of course it helps when you ask questions in Italian.
That is the reason I have taken a speed course in Italian with emphasis on photographic phrases.
The effect is overwhelming. I can recommend this approach to you.

I did recognise a "yellow" (brass) screw fitting for the 1600F's cable release port. I feel I recognise the screw - gee I wonder why? Now let me think and see if I can remember.
Ulrik, the slack behaviour of Hasselblad cost them a sale of a very expensive stock item!! And it made another sale for Nikon. This makes me wonder how many cameras etc have not been sold because poor customer relations. I hope the Nikon lives up to your expectations.
