Hasselblad Vintage Queen 2008

Careful

Jürgen,

Please be careful with the knob and the lens mount of the camera.
The paint has not fully hardened.

Good that you brought up the K... mount for this camera.
I will see to it that it reaches you before the weekend.
That gives you a chance to use all those wonderful Zeiss Jena lenses

Paul

ps

I sincerely thank you for taking these pictures of Hasselblad Heritage.
It gives others who do not have the opportunity to own these cameras a chance to enjoy their beauty.

Paul,
the K.. mount will not allow to mount Carl Zeiss Jena lenses on the 1000 FK. So far I this is my previlege that I can use a 2,8/120 mm Biometar on the Hasselblad 1000 F. of course this will be getting easier when the first Hasselblad 1000 FP cameras roll out.

Correction

Hello Ulrik,

Thanks for correcting my mistake here.
That means Jürgen will have to find some Ukranian lenses to set the K mount at work.
Jürgen will get used to the K word I guess.

K mount

Nothing wrong with the k mount.
I will be the first to congratulate Pentax with their decision to stick to the same mount even in the days of data bus and electronically loaded lenses.

It is a pity the other camera has a mount that is also called K.
I do not think there will be much confusion though.

Today I collected the original parts from my 1600F camera that were replaced by new items.
A little mechanism that contains the springs for the shutter and the shutter springs as well.
New spares make a technician happy.

I tried to follow Ulriks voyage into history with 1000F cameras.
From Acute Matte screens to an adapter plate for the quick coupling his 1000F cameras have it all.

That is another strong example of backwards compatibility that Victor Hasselblad could not have dreamed of.

Besides being a collectors item the 1000F is an ideal user camera.
It does not bother me to upgrade older cameras to more modern standards.
Most of these upgrades can be undone without problems.

...his 1000F cameras have it all...

Not all of course. But when the bottom of a sad 1000F has received several new holes from a previous owner it is a good idea to cover the mess with a tripod adapter plate. For some people that camera would have qualified as scrap metal, but that tough little thing had a beautiful shutter unit. A very nice album with memories from my vacation to Sweden is what this camera gave me in return.

Fear

Having been a good boyscout all my life there is absolutely nothing to fear.
BTW I am glad Victor is watching us :z04_bier01:

Who the H... is Baden Powell?
Looked him up in who is who in photography.
He is not even in that book!

Hello Ulrik,

Some say I have petrol instead of blood in my system.
What is wrong with petrol?

I can only support your wish: "May Victor be with us"

Here you can see four members of the sportsfinder family .
The masks are correctly inserted when you can read the focal length
from the viewing point .

In the front you can see the cable release adapters for the 1600F/1000F as well as for SWA and SW . The left lot is supposed to be a kind of "dust cover" .
These screws are of my own production and I got them finally plated .

A curiosity is the right dark blue finder mask for the 500mm lens .
An absolute nonsense . All people who see it and try to use it suffer a serious laughter attac .:z04_kaputtlachen: :z04_kaputtlachen: :z04_kaputtlachen:

Hello Jürgen,
this is a beautiful lineup. When browsing through old Hasselblad catalogues some of the accessories show an ingenuity that makes me ask if there were some British engineers in the Hasselblad design team. I particularly like the accessory holder that clips onto the sunshade. It took quite some time before I found a use for it.
