CFV WARRENTY EXTENSION HOT SWAP

The V-SYSTEM is dead .

Reading Christian Poulsen's letter , you will recognize , that he did not metion the V-SYSTEM with one single word and also the CFV was not metioned at all . (but at least , and that gives a little hope, CF backs were mentioned . And . . . the CFV back is a CF back . Or is my logic wrong here ? ? ?)

HASSELBLAD's retreat from the 6x6 V- SYSTEM will shurely be liked very much by FRANKE & HEIDECKE . Best regards from HY6 (coming soon)

Hi Bojan,

Gee, what companies aren't these days, at least for the top executives...not many from what I see of CEO and other executive salaries/bonuses compared to the rest of the employees...seems like you get a bonus just for showing up if you're an exec.

Well, there is this rumor courtesy of Schultze about a new CFV in the making with a bigger display and more pixels.
Even if true, that is not an evolution. Don't all manufacturers know by now, that every new version has to come with more pixels? - Canon's only flop in digital cameras has been the 30D because it came with the same number of pixels as the former one.

In the digital photography era, every seasoned photographer expects and demands from manufacturers bigger sensors and more pixels. This trend won't fade out till we reach full frame in every iteration of medium format photography. If this is not so,, why not one of MF manufacturers has come out with a new system designed around existing sensors?

Hasselblad tried to fool???? some people into having the first MF full-frame camera. for Christ's sake!

As for megapixel increments? Actually, I think there is no end. It will slow down, but there will always be room for more.

Concerning the bigger display on the CFV, I was told, that this is the ONLY modification - so not really a CFV II.

We will see if there will be an evolution of this back in the future or we have to wait for the Rollei/Leaf/Sinar Hy6 and full square format backs respectively...
