Zeiss 300 f28 TPP

Tim:

Welcome to the forum!

Let me see, a 205 and a 300mm TPP, what else could you possible want that is manufactured today, that will surpass the quality and uniqueness of these very special items!

If it is for business purposes I'd suggest you get a loan for what ever you need. You really have in my opinion, as my Dad use to say, "some keepers!"

I hope you keep them, I know you will regret selling them.

BTW-If I had a 300 TPP I'd probably take with me to my grave! Perhaps Jurgen would too!

Gilbet

Seriously, if you do not use the lens get it into the hands of someone who will. That's a super high priced paper weight. There is no shame in selling any piece of gear if it is rarely used ... unless you are a filthy rich fondler ... then there is shame : -)

If you do use it, sell anything else before selling such a rare high performance lens.

Just an opinion.

Don't worry , I will not go for it . Definately not . It would be the most expensive but unused piece of glas in my collection .
But I will go for a MICTROTEK ARTIXSCAN F1 Scanner soon . I very good scanner for my purposes .
A dealer in Austria , just a 100km away from my place has the "Studio version" in stock .
The price is 1540 € .

Good joke . Very good indeed .

That model is called the HTPP , Holga Telephoto Power Pack .
The marketing strategy is : When you buy a Holga you get the TPP for nothing .
Only twelve models are left .

Colin:

If you can't find the Holga adapter. I am sure with your very careful use of a hot knife you can adapt your Holga to a Hassy mount! So you would be in business.

If you don't stop to praise the HOLGA , I will buy one by tomorrow . It is 69.-€ here .
But most important , HOLGA has got a sister now . Her name is DIANA and can be bought for just 39,-€ . This girl has F4,5 - 8 - 11 at a shutter speed of 1/125 and can adapt ZEISS ZM lenses . Hahahaha . What beautiful gear . If it fails , you will not suffer sleepless nights .
But it does not . ! No chance .

Cheers

Jürgen

It would be a shame to risk destroying a beautiful Holga just to fit a Hasselblad lens on it. I'd suggest working on the lens and adapting it to the Holga instead.

Is the 69.-€ Holga a special version for the European market? In the US, the basic version cost $25. With a flash it's $37.

I have just ordered the HOLGA GFN Model . It is 55.-€ inclusive shipping .
When I have my first shots , I will post them here .

C'mon guys!
The bidding still hasn't gone up as high as it should.
Mortgage your neigbour's houses, sell the kids, and make sure your Holgablad is the one with the nice lens!

Q.G.

You obviously don't see the facts .
I will get a HOLGA and have already started to sell all my V-SYSTEM including CFV gear to gain the money for the TPP .
I will stop joking now .

Jurgen:

Are you sure if you purchase a new Holga with a flash that you be able to afford the TPP? I am glad your purchased the top of the line model.

Manu:

I am an expert at lens modification, so send me your Holga and all of your V lenses so that I can custom fit each one. BTW-I just bought a new 3 lb ball peen hammer from Snap-On Tools just so you know I use only quality tools.

Just let me know before you send them so they won't be left on my porch. I would not want them damaged in any way!

Q:

Loans are hard to come by here in America, now that they expect you to pay them off!

Regards:

Gilbert

Gilbert:

That's very tempting. I've always thought a wide angle would be fun on the Holga. Could you also modify a CFV to fit on the Holga at the same time?

Thanks,
Manu

Great wildlife shots . Thanks for posting .
The only brown bear (wildlife) we had in Germany was shot last year .

Marc

I am sorry to say . The LEAF AFi presentation at my dealer is cancelled and now takes place at the LINHOF factory in Munich . Same date . I don't know , if I can manage to get there .
I have been to LINHOF before . They regulary run seminars for LF cameras (tilt and shift techniques)

Regards Jürgen

Jürgen,

That was not shot using a TPP, i gather.

See what happens when they use sub-standard equpment. Animals get killed! And worse even may happen, so beware, and spend, spend, spend...!
