thanks for the input and humor. I have decided to keep the lens and will it to NASA when I die.

Jurgen, please do relate your experiences after that presentation.
I don't talk about it much, but have a superb performing Aptus 75 which is being swapped out for a brand new Aptus 75s for around $2,000. in the next few weeks (Leaf just let me know that it's made port ). Change the mount and it'll go nicely with a Leaf AFi Hy6.
In contrast, the upgrade for my H3D/31 barely dry behind the ears to a H3D/31-II is ... ta da ... $14,400 !!!
Perhaps Hasselblad has lost their collective mind ?
Can I be NASA?![]()
Marc, that is about the price of the H3DII-31 new. What would you get if you sold the H3D-31? Maybe that is the way to go, now that Hasselblad has lowered prices and stopped considering the upgrade path in a serious way.
The post you quoted is 18 months old.
Hasselblad sales and price policy has changed quite a lot since then.
The last Photokina is one well worth remembering for Hasselblads 40% price cut for HD cameras and the anouncement of Leicas plans for the S2.
Hasselblad and Leica were almost neighbours this year.
It seems you will need a new birth certificate and will be registered as a company.
I wonder what will be filled in under M/F?
BTW what was the price when new and how many of them were built ?
Only 43 lenses were built in total.
That makes it the rarest lens ever built for any Hasselblad camera with the exception of the 1700 mm one of build.
That is a one of lens
