The camera seems to be in its natural surroundings with all those Landrovers around.
It must have been quite a safari!

Hello Paul,
it was at least a great meeting with lots of friends. And I am amazed how nice the photos with this camera turned out although we later found out that a service was really necessary for it.

I forgot to mention that credit for this photo goes to Thomas Kastens, who is a great travel photographer and knows how to entertain his audience.

Sometimes it seems better not to know all history of cameras we treasure.
Like you I am amazed the shots with the "zebra" turned out so well with hindsight on the condition of this camera.

A well earned compliment for Thomas Kastens for this picture of the zebra in a safari surrounding!

tough luck


I bit the bullet, carefully read the advise from Kodak support (they were very fast to respond!) and put the film in D76.

Long story short: no luck. Somewhere in its long life the film must have been exposed to daylight, it is basically black allover.

Ah weli.. it was worth trying..
