The analog battery is : SONY NP-F530 , F550 , F570 .
There are surely different OEM brands available .

Please have a look to the CFV-39 datasheet in the HASSELBLAD website , and you will discover , that the CFV-39 is sold without battery and charger .
Worldwide .
Might be , that your dealer will hand these items free to you , when you buy ten CFV-39 backs .:z04_kaputtlachen: Don't trust these guys . They seldom give something for nothing .

Jürgen

Don't expect the dealer will provide you with the battery gear. It looks like their margins are not all that great ... ??

By the way, you need to work with Phocus 1.2.1 on a dual core of quad PC and have the right video card in your machine ... an other interesting experience ...

But I must admit, the CFV-39 is straight forward and user friendly and a real experience after now having worked with Hasselblad for the last 15 years (analogue of course)

Under pressure...

Nothing like the pressure of the whole Hasselblad world awaiting the posting of your images... ;^) Looking forward to the first posts!

Congratulations!

The first images with this new DB at Hasselblad info forum.

The 30 mm is impressive as ever.

Sooo tiny!

But still, thank you for posting, JAT.

Two questions:
1) Am I seeing a green to magenta sensor color cast in those images (edge tends to green, center tends to magenta)?

2) I'd love to take a closer look, and am willing to host the raws for anyone on HasselbladInfo.com to take a look at. Please let me know if you're willing to have a raw or two of yours made available to interested parties.

Best regards,
-Brad

Hello CFV-39 friends, some more stuff for you interest. Picture of VW car toy taken with CFi100 and 16mm extension ring (50 ASA, 1/4 sec, f11).
By the way, the PME-45 works just fine in portrait as in landscape. No need to look for an RM-2 finder.

I was just reading the specs. for the CFV39 and Jurgen will be happy to know that under "custom settings" in the menu, the settings for the Tilt Sensor can be changed. Default is "auto".

Steve

Hello Steve,

Please do not give Jürgen a hard time.
He has trouble enough accepting his new CFV toy is not due for at least another week.

After getting his first CFV back with tilt sensor a couple of years ago he got another one that was a special edition for erotic photography.

The second unit was delivered in autumn.
Jürgen soon established the damned thing refused to operate below 15° C.

Time heals all wounds but this one has not healed yet........

Steve

You can even find a small description about the TILTSENSOR in WILDI's latest edition . Its just two sentences . But still , it is there .

The word TILT SENSOR is harder to accept for me , than WWC , world wide crisis . And Paul is always very keen to pour oil into this fire .
He is nasty , isn't he ? ? ?

But I know , there are some more species out there in this forum beeing of the same nature . :z04_head_wall:

I don't have the latest edition of Wildi. I had though of the Tilt Sensor as an almost "mythical" entity until I saw the picture of the menu screen for the CFV39.

Hopefully no more delays for your CFV39. I am waiting for you evaluation.

Some people seem to be blind , or they are just under water in a UNDERWATER HOUSING .
No need to extinguish a fire there .:z04_kaputtlachen:

Don't worry about the tiltsensor: default is AUTO and works very fine.

Histogram is single channel.

I am so jealous of all you wealthy people! haha

I don't think I'll be able to spend ten thousand pounds on camera eqipment for at least 20 years when i'm an established civil engineer and property developer, but going off what my 55 year old 1000F is like, as i'm able to do Digital MF I'm definitely sticking with Hasselblad!

I can't wait to see more results

I worked out I'll be 153 when I will be able to afford a s/h digital back like the CFV39 - so I've decided to stick to film....:z04_nein1:
