First results from the new CFV 39

if you would like, I am most willing to assist you through the initial "breaking in" period with your CFV-39. I have been using a 39 meg back for a couple of years now ... including with Zeiss lenses. It takes a bit of practice with the Phocus software.

Even though I use a H3D-II/39 with Zeiss optics, the 39 meg back doesn't care what body is used ... it's the lenses that count : -)

These appear to lack the snap, crackle and punch of the CFV-II.

But I think it's a matter of processing the files.

Don't know about the CFV-II but they seem extremely unsharp and flat, even chromatic aberration can be seen in this small size -check the last photo.... (unless you are posting random 100% crops) maybe its the re-size program you are using or something going very wrong in the processing...
