My Hasselblad Flexbody went south in March. I thought it was fixed, using a small piece of cable release, but it jammed on the first use in the field. For two months I tried to get the piece of cable release out with zero luck. I searched the internet looking for anyone who would work on the camera, again with zero luck. A local shop in Albuquerque sent it to a shop in Georgia, he removed the cable release part for $300.00. I got the camera back yesterday and now it is ruined. No function regarding closing the lens or tripping the Shutter. The entire cable release area is now super wobbly. It looks great but doesn't function to make an exposure.

Does anyone know of a shop that will work on a Hasselblad Flexbody??? Hasselblad USA sent me a list of repair shops, but not one of them would even look at the camera. Thanks a lot Hasselblad you are no help at all, a completely worthless company in my opinion. Hasselblad is just another name for Fuji.

The cost of a replacement is beyond my means. At this point I'm considering selling everything I have Hasselblad and giving up on the system. Me not happy, I could use plenty of expletives, but that would not be helpful.

So right. You spend $300 so some shop in Georgia wrecks the thing, and you blame Hasselblad? Tbatss really stupid. No wait. Ship it to me and i will fix it….

I only blame Hasselblad for not taking care of their legacy systems. They are just a Fuji Company and don't care about where they came from. And, yes the shop in Georgia tried and made things worse, money not spent well. I have contacted so many shops and NO ONE will touch the camera, WHY? I'm tempted to send it to you, but I don't know you and your abilities to repair the camera. But, at this point, I will consider your offer...

I get you. Fuji is an independent company. Worse, is that Hasselblad is owned by DJI…and while a Chinese corporation massive in video, drones etc, they’re having issues re the USA. In a couple of years, things might turn around

DJI, I did not know that! No wonder... I thought they were owned by Fuji, since all the glass is Fuji and you can buy some models as a Fuji camera (not in the USA) I sure hope things turn around in the USA, I'm sick of what's happening, almost everything I purchase photographically comes with a hefty tariff. And, at the moment very little is selling in the art industry unless you are a big name with big bucks behind you. Thanks for the information.
