Voightlander

There's one on ebay USA, at the moment. eeek !

Prices seem to be rising and the V Angle Finder is likely to cost as much as the SWC in the near future, a small car even. :)

They are a great finder though and they transform the use of the camera.

About time Voigtlaender does a new run of these finders.

Price is 50% over the rrp at the time this finder was still available.

Amazing what a bit of luck and a steady hand can do.

I shot two films without a finder present on my super wide.
19 shots turned out just fine.

Yes,indeed from what I read they work great, but 999.00, wow to much for me ....Brian

Agreed. Now you have to find another. They do come up from time to time. I searched for 2 years, then Bingo !

I recall Cosina did 2 production runs and sold out in no time at all. Be interesting to know why they'll never do another.

there's a SWC on the rangefinder forum now WITH the voigtlaender finder. doubt he'll split, but who knows??

good luck

Voigtlander right angle finder for the SWC

I was also looking for one for a long time. Saw the HK ad but $900 plus shipping, import duty to NL, sales tax,.... just too much. Then, lo and behold one appeared on our local site (marktplaats.nl). Bidding from Euro 300. Brand new in the original box. I settled with the seller for Euro 375. The finder is great, better image then the standard one. It has diopter adjustment built in (I use +1) and even a 6x4.5 frame marking. It was sold because the seller moved from Hasselblad to 4x5. My advice is keep looking for one at no more than $5 - 600.

Voigtlander right angle finder for the SWC

BTW. Two things this finder does NOT have compared tot the standard Hasselblad 903 SWC finder:

1. No spirit level
2. No locking foot (in fact, it fits rather loosely in the flash shoe slide -- I'm looking for a solution)
