Using a polarizer on a Leica M

Sorry Paul - I didn't know where else to post this question, and I know there are a few V Hasselblad shooters here who also use Leica M. If you need to move this post, or not post it at all, I understand.
Here's my question -
I remember years ago that Mamiya made a polarizer contraption for their medium format rangefinders that mounted on the front of the lens. The polarizer would mount to it, then you could swing the filter up above the lens to adjust it, then swing it back down again for shooting. Does Leica make such a gizmo, or is one available from a third party source that can be used on M lenses?

Somewhere in the Xpan section there is also talk about a polariser like that, in this case from Leica. I think the post was from Marc Williams (?)
 
Leica do have the same kind of polarising filter device, it is on their site. Using it is a matter of taste and convenience. There are quite good screw-in filters too e.g. from B+W.
 
Looks like a smart solution, the filter can be moved in front of the view finder to check the effect of the adjustment.


Current price for this pola filter 450 euro or about 680 USD.

Yes, that looks like what I was referring to. Hellava price tag though, but I presume it includes the polarizer and the swivel mount.
I couldn't get the whole page to translate to English, so I may have missed some information. Since the Leica aperture ring is up front, I wonder how or where this thing mounts to the lens barrel. I also wonder if you can buy the largest size you need, and then mount to smaller diameter lenses, or if you need to purchase a separate filter for each size M lens you might own? Could get real costly real quick.

Mamiya's was a little different design, in that it had two parallel swivel arms that raised and lowered the filter, so that (to my knowledge) the orientation of the filter did not change from top viewing to swiveling down over the lens. It seems that the Leica version simply rotates the filter 180 degrees when swiveling up or down.
