Normally, I'm not a big fan of black and white when it comes to nature and landscape photography—but in this case, the original color image was just a chaotic mess of green. So I gave it a try in black and white - and I actually kind of like it :)

Very nice! Sometimes color just doesn't work. Filters can be used to enhance some values or change the tones. Also IR film can be another tool.
