I finally took the plunge and picked up a Tele-Rollei from a Leica shop in Europe. It's in very nice shape and was pretty affordable at $1,050. I had one years ago, but only used it a few times before I fell into the digital ocean. I had forgotten the minimum focus is nearly 8ft! So, In purchased a 0.7 Rolleinar, also in nice shape (but not real cheap!) Anyway, I'm having trouble attaching the thing. It has a screw-latch thingy at what I think is the lower lens. But the screw doesn't turn and the latch seems tight. I was thinking maybe the latch snaps on to the lower lens housing, but it doesn't have enough play to do so and I don't want to force it.
Can anyone offer a quick tutorial on how the 0.7 attaches to the lenses?
