SWC finder spirit level

I have discovered, that the spirit level in my SWC finder is off. Even though I use it a lot, my pictures always came out tilted more than 1 degree (which they shouldn't, if the bubble is within the circle). Now I have the quick coupling plate, and when I line this up perfectly with the SWC attached, the finder bubble center crosses the circle periphery - at an angle even.

Can I fix this somehow so I can trust the finder again when using it handheld? Do I have to buy a new finder, and would this indeed solve the problem or is the spirit level just that inaccurate?

No idea how accurate the spirit level is but considering it is being used in construction it should be better than 1°.

I suppose you find the deviation is always the same.
That would mean it could be adjusted.
A question for my tech.

I have had so much problem with this I no longer use the bubble in the finder. I have found the foot of the finder and the shoe on top of the cameras to have variations. I now use a small pocket level which I lay on top of the film back. After all, that is what I really want level.
