Shutter repairs on old c lense series

Hi
Just purchased a second hand 500 c/m with cf 80 lens. Love the camera everything work well. Thinking about buying a 250 c series lens, wondering about problems getting shutter fixed if something goes wrong. Anyone have any recent experience getting a c series lens fixed? I will be moving back to Canada/Alberta/Calgary Yea!!!!
