Another newbie question: when recovering an Hasselblad 500 for weeks, shutter should be left cocked or not? I saw this debated somewhere, but I cannot find it anymore.
This question reminds me of something not quite related, but that I've been meaning to ask those with a keen insight as to Hassleblad's ways:
Why was the red & white portal window removed from later V bodies??
It was always so convenient to be able to glance at that little portal, and know in an instant whether or not the camera was cocked. With my 501, I still inadvertently glance down, only to be reminded that someone must have thought that this little window was no longer necessary.
Just curious if there was a valid reason.
I presume it's still on current film backs, right?
