Serial numbers

Howdy all...

I am wondering if someone knows a place that I can use serial numbers to accurately identify my lenses. Age, exact models, etc.

When I look at the lists, at the zeiss website, some of them dont seem to be exact. For instance, my 50mm 2,8 Distagon doesnt show the T*, but the lists dont show one withOUT the T*. I know there has to be more lists somewhere...

any comments?

See Rick Nordin's Hasselblad Compendium. Very useful to own, for this but even more so for other reference use.
