Quality of CF 150 14XE converter

Hi,

I have a CF 150, a C 250mm without t* coating and recently added a CF 350 tele tessar. To keep the size and weight down, I was thinking of buying a 1,4 converter to use with the 150mm (and maybe sometimes even with the 350.

The quality of the C 250mm has never disappointed me (as long as you keep the sun out of the lens). Very sharp and nice out of focus areas. Does anybody know if the quality of the CF150 combined with the 1,4XE converter will be equal to or even better than the chrome C 250mm?

Well, I am using a CFi150 with Mutar 2X. This should not be worser than your combination. You can see some photos here:
