Polaroid back spread problem

Hi,

I've acquired a cheap polaroid back (Hasselblad 100), which seems to work fine, however the negative and subsequently positive are only partially developped, seems like the developper is not spread correctly all over the picture. I thoroughly cleanes the rollers but doesn't help...

Check the roller assembly very carefully for cracks. I just had this problem and found tiny cracks where the rollers mount to the plastic insert. Replacing the roller assembly ($13.95 part at B&H) fixed it.

Thanks Larry,

After your advise, I had a look at it and saw that there's a plastic device aimed at crush the pods of developper. just before the roller. On top of that device is a spring, and it seems a bit tired. I think that's the problem.
