PME3 won't slide on 503 CW?

I have a 500CM on which I use a PME3, chimney viewer, and standard WLF. I just bought a new 503 CW and the PME3 won't slide fully onto the body. I've looked and looked at the bottom of the PME3 and the rails of the 503CW and can't detect what is holding it up? The WLF and chimney finders slide right on the 503CW with no difficulty. Thoughts?
