I've tried to post another thread, but the system flashes some message that I can't read and my post never shows up... I've read the help areas, but don't know why that's the case.

Do you know if there are some forum specific rules I can read?

No, I don't. However, a moderator will probably come along soon to help. Can you do a PM to an Administrator or moderator?
 
My guess is you have tried to upload a post with a link or URL in it.
Recently registered users can not upload posts with links.
This is part of the forums software that prevents heaps of spam reaching the forum.

I will check my mailbox and see if post like mentioned from you are kept in quarantaine.
They will be released provided they do not contain spam or commercial information.

At the bottom of this page you will find "terms of use".
It is the legal thing and also explains what is allowed and what is not.

The thing about a auto ban for posts from newly registered users containing links is not explained explicitly.
It would inform prospective spammers so they can find a way around this.

After ten posts I am sure links etc are no longer a problem.
