Metering experience with CFV-39

I found the CFV-39 needs always a correction by -2/3EV compared to the metering results of my handheld meter which works correct with film material.

The same correction needs to be done using the internal metering of the 203FE.

Does anyone have the same experience?

Yes , same results here for CFV-16 and CFV-39 . That is also my experience .
I do a correction of -1 EV , but use rather the histogram reading for proper exposure . (when working from the tripod) .
When using the histogram , you should reduce the contrast of the LCD screen
to the lowest setting and expose so that the far right end of the histogram curve reaches almost 100% .

No, opposite direction. - 2/3 EV = 32ASA @ 50ASA setting on the back.

I set my meter to (example) 50 ISO , while I set the back to 100 ISO .

that is about also my experience. -2/3 stop when using available light. works better with flashlight in studio.

My experience as well. A handheld meter reading at the same ISO did not push the histogram anywhere near the RHS.

The good news was that I could recover it with the exposure slider and still had wonderful quality.

Well, in fact I'm always afraid to over expose.
In this case, it's hard to make correction.

Time to times I've difficulties with red shirt as the red is satured with kodak digital but the rest of the picture need more light.
