M42 Lens on Hasselblad 500

probably I say an heresy but it's possible to fit an m42 or other type of slr lens on an hasselblad 500cm?
I ask this because I've got a stereo attachment and be courios to try it on my father's hasselblad
I think of some kind of adpter...

Welcome at Hasselbladinfo forum Gabriel.

I do not know af any adapter to fit M42 lenses to a Hasselblad body.
It is unlikely these exist because the image circle of these lenses is not large enough to cover a 6X6 filmframe which is actually 56X56 mm.

As usual most anything can be found on ebay, including such an adapter. I agree with Polypal that its usefulness would be quite limited and the ebay ad does note that in regard to the rear element needing to be a large diameter. It would be alot of money to spend to satisfy your curiousity.

The only lens that *might* work on a HB is a PC/shift lens. These lenses by design have a bigger image circle to allow for the shift.

But all in all: not worth the hassle (sic...)

Use proper MF lenses.

yes I think the best way to use hasselblad is the 2d full frame!
