We can now soon attend Paul's HASSELBLAD underwater workshop (in his bathroom) .

Congrats Paul .
I see only one difficulty for your collection . To display the housing correctly , you must buy an aquarium , like shown on image one , or even bigger . That will have to be cleaned every week to avoid the plague of algae .
To prevent the housing of getting stolen , I recommend to have a couple of piranhas in the aquarium .

Jürgen

Very nice Paul. I always wanted one of these when I was a diver but never could afford one. Or even find one. Now that I'm too old and broken down to dive, I STILL WANT ONE! They are so pretty.

Jürgen,

Do not underestimate my gold fish.
I had a couple of piranha's but the gold fish ate all of them..........

Terry, Bradley,

Thanks for your compliments.

I know I am a lucky guy finding this UW housing.
They are rare. It is the second one I have seen.
The first one was an early one with smaller rear part.
I did not buy that one because it was brutally "modified".

This one is in good condition with the extra front section needed for a 50 mm Distagon.
More news as soon as I have some images worth showing.

Paul

Hi, Paul,

If, in your travels you come across another, I would be grateful if you would ping me. It looks like a beauty.

Best,
Brad

I am not a greedy guy.
If ever I find this little beast, the one just bought will become for sale.
Brad you are second to Terry who expressed an interest first, fair is fair.

This friendly looking thing is built for EL cameras.
It comes with dual propeller drive, navigation etc. (Not to sure about all that. It would not surprise me though)

You are cheating Terry!
You have the rarest of all UW housings and have the nerve to ask for another one?

I am utterly disappointed in you.
Next thing will be the UWH belongs to your neighbour of course.
What a lame excuse. Better think of something else.

Paul

Do not worry Terry, I just could not resist to pull your leg. :)

The housing you showed a picture of is from another manufacturer.

The housings of which I found one are Swiss made.
I suppose the one you showed is not a cast one like this one is.
They are built like a Swiss watch.
I had my UWH checked by the technician of whom you also have a piece of work in your collection.

He had nothing but praise for the condition of the Swiss piece of precision engineering.
It has been tested and is fully functioning. No leaks!
The Swiss even thought about illumination in the housing to make it easier to read the scales on the lens.
As a diver you know under water is not much light.

Clever guys these Swiss.
