Kodak's "best" saved until its last?!

Like a certain wedding feast in biblical times, it seems that Kodak's finest may have been left to the very last!

I saw reference to Kodak launching a new professional standard film named: Kodak Ektar 100.

What a coincidence - in the 1600/1000F threads the name Ektar appears everywhere. Well now Kodak is using the name for what it says is its finest professional grade film!

ABOVE ALL, IT IS GREAT TO SEE FILM COMPANIES CONTINUE TO ROLL OUT NEW EMULSIONS!

Here is a link to the Kodak site and the information on the film. I've not had time to read the included PDF of the film's technical features. So everyone's comments will be interesting to read.

Hello Simon

Thanks for the link . Interesting .
Unfortunately , this film is not (yet) available as 120 film for our beloved HASSELBLADs .
But you can at least have a try with your XPAN . Good luck .
