Hi All:
I just purchased my very first Hasselblad camera, an H4D-40. I've been working in photography for many years. I love film too and have a good line-up of analogue equipment. My digital equipment includes, a Fuji X100 (which I love), Leica M9 (50mm lens, 35, and a 28).
These lenses work well in my documentary work. I also have two Canon full frame bodies and an assortment of prime lenses.
What I want from this forum is contact with other Hasselblad shooters and hopefull I will profit from this experience. Down the line I might even add something of my experience with this legendary camera.
I am working on a book for a university press on life in a rural Iowa country. If you've read James Agee and Walker Evans' book Let Us Now Praise Famout men then you will understand that I'm working with both images and text, mostly stories of my life in this rural environment plus photographs of one Iowa county. When I get my website up and running, I'll be posting photographs I've taken over the last 30 years of this place.
Hope to get to know some of you as we move through this year and I get a bit more familiar with my H4D-10. Phil
