How to get slower shutter speeds than one second one ELM model?

Does anyone know how to get slower shutter speeds than one second one ELM model? I have C lens distagon 50\4. And I can set shutter speed at B but other green numbers are not available? What should I do to get slower speeds?

You need a cable release, either one to the front or the side plug.
And then you have the timing in our hand. Not that exact but fair enough.
The problem can be with times longer than 3-5 sec, as there are no electric cable releases with "hold" function, as with the mechanical ones.

Green numbers on the barrel of C lenses are a simple memory to help you to find the exposure time in entire seconds (here B stays for 2), which you obtain by "timing" manually after setting the shutter on B.
For example if your exposure is of 1 second at f4 and you wish more DOF, the green scale informs you that the right time is of 2 seconds (B) at f5.6, 4 seconds at f8, 8 seconds at f11, etc.
So assuming that you need an opening at f11: turn the diaphragm scale to set f11 in front of B and press the cable release for 8 seconds (an eye to the second needle of your watch!) remembering to maintain the pression for the whole exposure time to prevent the closing of the auxiliary shutter.
For very long exposures one must to put in account the reciprocity default, but the talking would become too long: to a good photographic manual!

For long exposure times use the "T" position of the L-O-T switch. This way you will not need to keep pressing a shutter release.

For long times you don't have to worry about small vibrations when you move the switch back and forth to the T position, but just in case, you can do this:

To start the capture:
Since you are using a "C" lens, use the self timer

To finish: Cover the lens and then move the switch to the O position
