Hi,

I am new medium format, looking to make the jump. Amature photographer with a lifelong interest inherited from family members.
Enjoys using photos to capture memories with family as well as out and about on my travells.

I work in I.T during the daytime, married with three daughters all grown up.

Receding hairline , general senility, music lover and that's about it!

You are not the only one. ;o)

Hi Nigel,
There's probably never been a better time to start out on the MF path. With lots of stunning 120 film cameras appearing on the s/h markets at very reasonable prices and some new digital models too, the choice has never been greater. I use everything from a Pigeonflex TLR (precursor to the Yashica range) to a Fiji 6x9 and for digital work use a Fuji GFX 50S, Hasselblad H2D, and some Contax 645 with digital and film backs. And these would have been unaffordable when they were first introduced for us as amateur togs. I'm sure you'll find plenty of inspiration from members of this forum to help you on your way.
