Help disconnecting extension tubes

I bought a stack if Hasselblad extension tubes.
They are black with chrome buttons.

How do I separate each tube??

I press the button and twist... but I don't want to force it.

Is there something I am missing?

Yes, cocking the extension tube, like you'd do with a lense. After that, they're easy to separate.

If they jam when trying to seperate them, wind the cocking key on the bottom tube to cock them all. Then place them on a camera body, and start to seperate them one at a time, starting with the tube furthest away from the camera body.

The screw blade was turned a bit, I moved it into position, and they all came apart
