In the fifties I worked professionally with a Fujita 66 and a 150 mm taking portraits. My boss had a 1000f which we didn´t were allowed to touch. It had often problems with the feeding of the film. The Fujita often misfead so we often only got 11 pictures. Not good. I was the other day on a exibition with Ruth Orkins pictures. There was one of her cameras, a Pilot 6 made in Dresden. Is is very like th Fujita and maybe an inspiration for Victor when he designed the 1600F. Just a thought. As far as I know August Nagel designed the Fujita and as that is very like the Pilot so maybe Nagel who lived in Dresden at the time also designed the Pilot.
