Hasselblad V in Olympic Tv ad

I was briefly watching Olympic TV (USA) coverage and there was a commercial (for skin lotion ?) with a woman and child in a field. The woman was taking photos with a "V" series with and open WLF. The Hassey got a lot of "air time". The Hassy added a lot of class to the ad.

I saw that too and thought it was pretty good. I was happy to see she wasn't using it in some weird way and that when they showed the image in the viewfinder it wasn't filled with all this digital stuff that doesn't exist.

I've said it many times, only this time I'm going to be more specific:
"The V system still is the most beautiful, cool and elegant photo imaging gear on the planet".

I just saw the ad again...the "V" got more visual time then did the product that they were "pushing".

Could you please provide the link?
I'd love to watch the ad.
It is encouraging to see things like this because it helps me stick to my Hasselblad system. It is hard enough since dslr's are getting so good and better all the time, but I know by experience, that the Hasselblad V system provides a contemplative aproach to photography (unlike dslr's) without being painstakingly slow, that it doesn't compromise productivity. It just makes every shot count.

Hasselblad V series cameras are a trademark for professional photography and are still recognised as such by many who never owned one.

Just saw another ad where a Hasselblad was used to promote an other product.
This must have been a very special camera. Focusing was done by turning the wind knob......

Yes, please do.

The comments made about the V series being so cool, classy etc are well summarised in Paul's added comment about the V series being the icon of professional photography.

I think that there is no other camera, system or brand that has so obviously inspired all interested in photography - when anyone sees a Vseries camera they immediately recognise it as being for professional top quality photography.

cheers.

I saw the ad the "old fashioned way" on TV. I looked for it on-line a few days ago and couldn't find it..will try again.
