Are there any sites that have exploded internal parts views of Hasselblad cameras? Since I got a 501C I'm rather intrigued as to how all the mechanics of it makes it all work to fire the shutter and interlocking of the magazine.

Kind of a surprise to see the 90 deg drive gear to cock the shutter, but I guess they had to make a right turn somehow. There's enough inside to convince me I probably don't want to take it apart.

These cameras are the icing on the cake for every collector. Keep in mind collectors do use their early cameras to keep them in shape.
Forum user 1000F use the 1000F camera exclusively with amazing results.

Most of the time the original shutter curtains can be saved.
The problem you describe is not known by me or any of the 1600F/1000F cameras restored here.
New shutters and most of the parts that wear are in stock ready to be fitted if necessary.
Want a new bodyshell for a 1600F or a 1000F? I stock them.
It takes experience and a lot of patience to recondition these early Hasselblads.
Do not worry about the problem you described. It does not happen.
I guarantee fully rebuilt cameras for a period of 12 months regardless of the age.
