Hasselblad CF Lens Adapter

I just got a deal on one of these adapters for my H1. It does not seem to work however. When attached the menu with lens selection is supposed to come up but all I get is a lens error code. My H1 (little used) is an early one I think. I think I read somewhere about a body upgrade? Perhaps the CF converter is defective? Ideas? Thanks!

The H 1 was upgraded more than once if I remember right.
Those adapters are sort of foolproof. Hasselblad NJ may come up with the right answer.
Upgrades can be done by any official dealer.

The latest H1 software update is version 9.3.2.
