Dear Friends,

i am new to MF system.

recently i have purchased hasselblad 50mm/f4 Cf with 503CW from a friend photographer. the issue is the interlocking button on aperture ring is missing.

I have sent a mail to hasselblad for the component description, the directed me to visit local service center. Local service center asked me to change the whole aperture ring which is way beyond my budget.

Any one can help me to source the component.

the picture is attached for your kind reference describing the part what i need.

Regards

jaswant

Unfortunately this plastic part is mounted on the aluminium ring in a typical way. It has plastic 'pins' that are fed through holes in the alu and then melted to fix the plastic part. A rather flimsy mounting method. Most likely the assy, so alu plus plastic is one spare part.

Why I know this: I used to have a CF50 with exactly the same problem..

An experienced service tech transplanted the plastic part from another scrap lens onto mine. He used special two-component glue to mount it. Most likely that approach resulted in a much better and robust lens than the factory ever built :)

anyone can help me to source this part.

Thanks.

I am getting some scrap CFlenses 80 ,150 and 250. can i remove this button from mentioned lenses to use on 50CF ???

Note that the rings are not the same diameter for every lens type. I do not recall off the top of my head which lenses are compatible in diameter.
