Hasselblad 503CW Winder

Hi there

I am planning to buy a 503CW body. Recently, I got a CW Winder for the 503CW ahead of the body. I hope existing users of 503CW with the winder can enligthen me with the following questions:

1. Can the winder work on its own without attaching to a 503CW camera body?
2. When the winder is not attached to a 503CW camera body, is it normal for it to wind sluggishly or at the same speed in all the modes, S,C,M,RC?
3. Is it true that the remote control can only trigger the winder if the winder is attached to a 503CW camera body?
4. Can the remote control trigger the winder when the winder is not attached to a 503CW camera body?
5. How to reset or sync the winder and the remote control.

I am asking all this questions is because I have yet got a 503CW body to try the winder.

5. No need to reset. Just turn the knob to "RC", select the mode on the remote control, and press the button.
