Hasselblad 501CM pre-release mode stuck

I'm a new owner of a beautiful Hasselblad 501CM. Very inexperienced. Someone told me that I was stuck in pre-release mode.

Here is what is wrong.
Camera is locked and shutter will not release
Seems to be in pre-release mode
Crank knob will not turn

Has any had these issues before? Is it worth fixing?

No it is not worth doing anything about it.

The mirror has lifted and the auxilary shutter, the two flaps at the rear of the camera, is open.
Chances are the pre release control is stuck.
You find this control on the RH side of the body, a small flat push button.
Try to move the button downwards.
In the free position it should be about 7 mm long.
After this has been done release the camera.

As long as you do not use the pre release function the camera will be fine.
It does not hurt to have the body checked and serviced unless you are sure this has been done recently.

That is normal, you can only swap lenses when the lens is cocked (lens shutter is open to allow light onto the viewfinder) and the camera is cocked too.

It could be that the previous owner has taken the body shell off the camera en incorrectly put it back. That might trigger a mechanical lockup like polypal explained.
