focus issues with V mount lens on an X2D

Has anyone used a V mount Sonnar 250mm F 5.6 T* lens on your X2D, using the XV lens adapter? I tried this the other day and all was fine until I tried to focus towards infinity. I could not even focus on objects about 10'-12' away. Any thoughts?

I have that lens, but have not tried it with the V adapter. I have used others (120 CV for example). It may be the lens? Have you tried another lens to see how it works?

I routinely use my V mount 250 SA on my 907x with the HB adaptor or with just the CVF 50c and 500 c/m body, so I have some experience.

Once, pretty much the same thing happened to me as to you. I eventually realized that I had tripped the screw and the lens was no longer properly cocked. Had I been shooting just the C/M and the lens, I would have figured that out immediately. But because I was using the digital back, I figured it was something more subtle. Took me a long time to recognize the obvious.
