Filters

I have no idea where Hasselblad gets their filters these days.
They used to buy filters from B&W and had those labelled Hasselblad.
Some filters like the UV B60 are now being made in Japan.

If you can not find what you are looking for in the range Hasselblad offers I would look at B&W or Heliopan.
Heliopan makes beautiful filters. The more expensive series have brass fittings.

Stay clear of Cokin and the likes. These filters are not suitable for high quality jobs.

thank you very much for your answer.
i have several filters using with my Canon lenses, and i know some good brands but not sure if that is also working with Hasselblad lenses.

All HC lenses are compatible with "screw in filters" .
No Bajonet filters like for most V-SYSTEM lenses .

Four different filter sizes are required .

M67x0,75 for the 2,8/80mm and 4/120mm lenses .
M77x0,75 for the 3,5/50mm , 2,2/100mm and 4/210mm lenses .
M86x1 for the 3,2/150mm lens .
M95x1 for the 4/28mm , 3,5/35mm , 3,5/50-110mm , 4-5,6/35-90mm and 4,5/300mm .

All of these filter sizes are also in use for LF RODENSTOCK or SCHNEIDER lenses .
Therefore it is no trouble getting filters from B+W or HELIOPAN (my personal preference) in the above given sizes .

If you can read german , you might have a look here :View attachment 756

Thank you very much for your answer :)

No, i can't read german ;-)

No German required!

You do not need German to look at the product range and the prices for Heliopan filters.
Heliopan has an English section but that is only the marketing story about their products and development of filters.
The German section shows you what is available in what sizes and at what price. Prices are in euro.

In fact i want just to stuck with B+W, i used Hoya which is good as well, but really i like B+W filters, Heliopan is another great brand but i never tried their filters before.

all my filters for Hasselblad are Heliopan , they are really good (and 95mm) and they have graduated pol filters , B+W , Singh Ray, ... not

Have you looked at the lee system...top quality filters and very flexible system.

Marc

And what they offering me?

I have Hitech [4x4] GND, and 1 Hoya CPL and 2 B+W CPL, 1 hoya ND and 1 Hoya IR and also Singh-ray Vari-ND and 1 GND.

The question is, are those filters i have can fit with Hasselblad lenses?

I remember seeing a Hoya filter kit available from Hasselblad. On one of their order sheets.

I use only B&W and Heliopan filters at this point.

sorry but did not see the question anywhere.

like any system where the lenses have different size thereads you either have to standardise on the largest thread and use step up rings, or get one of each filter for each lens thread size, or use the lee square system with adaptors for each lens size.
So depending on the sizes, not types, of your current filters, you may be able to use some of none of them.

But if you're buying an H3D system, a new filter set should not be too big a deal.
