Those are really nice colors. I'll try the Kodak 160 VC - haven't used color for a long time. Did you put any filters on the lenses - did you do much color correction after scanning?

Thanks polarcircle. I just started using color neg film and like it a lot. No filters or post processing. What you see is what it is. Printed by a local pro lab. Scanned on my Canon scanner, printer, fax machine. Maybe I should get a better scanner?

I'll try out the 160 VC. The colors were really great for the autumn light. For this purpose the scans were great actually. However, for more serious work, scanning negatives or slides, yuo should use at least an Epson 700/750. Next step on the ladder is the nikon 9000 or a second hand imacon (nowadays hasselblad) scanner. However, there are a number of posts about this issue in the forum.

Sorry, we were put through Ingemar Bergman way too much in upper secondary school. I never liked the seventh seal, if you do take this as a compliment. The picture really capture that mood.

Part of the friendly "chaos" at hasselbladinfo forum is that threads tend to develop in a different direction from what the TS opened with.

I do not wish to play policeman and just watch that everybody gets a fair chance to show his or her images and has an opportunity to ask questions.
After nearly three years moderating this forum I think I could say my initial idea to become the laziest moderator has come true.

I realise some posters will feel a thread becomes hijacked.
Please keep in mind this is a consequence of a free forum with minimal interference from the moderator.

Fall in the Southern mountains of Kentucky

Was traveling on a country road in the mountains when I saw this small river. Grabbed the Hassy and made this photo. I love fall colors. Taken with a 501c, 80mm C lens.
