I must admit there are many jokes about the elm cameras and their value.
The cheapest I bought with charger was only 25 euro.
It did not have a WLF but it had a very clean standard viewing screen and a usable battery. Not a bad looking camera either.
I used to make jokes about these cameras with a friend:

I think I am one meter short. One meter? Yes, so you only need 22 more elm's to cover the last part of your garden path........
It sounds like I do not like ELM cameras.
That is not correct. I have a couple of rare EL and ELM cameras and a host of accesoires.
From the sender/receiver to the 500 frame back and about every timer and charging accesoire ever produced.
It is just these cameras are not very well liked.
Batteries that take 14 hours to charge or 28 if you have two.
Batteries that will be empty when you decide to use the camera.
Batteries that will not take a charge and need replacement to soon.
Only after alternative ways were found to power these tank like built cameras
did they get the attention they deserve.
From a 9 volt block battery till more sophisticated solutions.
They all helped to sell these cameras and find new homes for them.
Left black battery container, cover to feed the EL/M/X from the mains.
Right interval timer, center coupler to fire up to 4 cameras simultaneously.
. Much better than using it as doorstop or using it for my garden path for sure...
