Bingo! Orange B104 Filter for 40mm F4 C

I -finally- have acquired a mint B104 Orange filter (with black mount and silver box) for my 40mm F4 Non-T* Distagon. It took me a while to find one, not many are around. I looked -everywhere-.

So, I think I have all the accessories. The Yellow, the Green, The Skylight, and the "Buick Tyre" original lenshood.

From the UK I just received a B104 B+W Polarizer with case and original box, also in mint condition.

Life is good :)

Perhaps trivial question: What do you use to carry them ?
Special boxes ?
I have several "93mm" filter (in fact 86mm) and not practical to manage.

Don't have a good carrying solution, yet.

Now that I have four B104 filters to carry around, that is an issue. I have recently been carrying around my "kit" in a Domke F2 press bag, which has large outer pockets. I leave the filters in the original Hasselblad silver boxes, and slip two each into a plastic ziploc bag, to keep them seperated. Then into one of the Domke's large outer pockets. I ziploc the "Buick Tyre" and it goes inside the bag, in one of the compartments. Also usually carry one Polaroid back, similar to whatever type of film I am using for the particular assignment.

Recently I bought a Domke F803 Messenger bag, that will hold the 40mm Distagon and the 350mm Tele-Tessar, and a couple of extra backs. I took it to my Son's latest outdoor rock concert, and it's very practical and stealthy.

I need to find a more permanant solution for storing the big filters, I agree with you on that. I'll have to see what I can come up with in terms of plastic boxes, probably with foam rubber inside the box. A future project.
