Best way to use two filters on SWC

I want to be able to use two filters (red and ND) on my 905, but as the rmfx finder reveals, this will cause vignetting. What is the best way to do this? Should I buy a proshade and use a regular filter mounted on the lens + square filter in the shade? Can a proshade indeed be used with the swc?

Proshade would be good, as it would enable me to used it also with the rest of my V system.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

A proshade could be the right solution in this case.
I would get a red or ND filter to go in the Pro Shade and use the other filter mounted on the lens.
In that case you do not have problems with vignetting.

The other solution may be to get larger filters with an adapter.
I believe Heliopan still makes both red and ND filters and a suitable adapter to fit 105 mm filters.
Disadvantage is the price for such a combination.
Red and ND filters do not come cheap in this size.

All Heliopan filters for that kind of use , today come in the slim line design .
That means , they are as thin as possible , from the manufacturing point of view .
I will have a call to HELIOPAN on Monday anyway , so , if you want me to ask a special question , just let me know .

Thanks Jürgen. I think I will go with a proshade.

Which proshade is the latest which doesn't have box shape, meaning it's like a piramid? I find these much more handsome. Any recommendations about which proshade to get?

Proshade 40676 and 6093(T)

The one you do not like is easier to use with filters.
It has p.n. 6093 (T)
Early models do not have the T . Later 6093 T is an improved version.
These Pro Shades have a special adapter to fit filters.

Proshade 50-70 with p.n. 40676

Please note for effective use with 120/135/150 lenses and with 250 lenses a mask is essential.
These are often not offered with the 50 - 70 Pro Shade.

Can you tell my who makes 100mm ND filter with at least 5 (and preferably up to 10) stop reduction? The Lee 100mm's I'm looking at now don't have that much but the B&W ø60 bayonet ND filters go to 10 stops.

Is it easier to go with the a red filter in the proshade and ND on bayonet, or is this just coincidence?

ND filters that are often used: ND0.6 4 times or two stops and ND0.9 8 times or 3 stops.
The ND3 gives 1000 times extensionfactor or 10 stops.

Look for prices and availablility at: http://www.heliopan.de/Preisliste.pdf

This pricelist is in German the German word for ND filter is Grau Filter.

The 6095 is the current Pro Shade with box form.
It is suitable depending on the adapters used for V and H series lenses.
