Hello there,
I have always previously used full frame DSLR's mostly Canon 1ds however, I would like to make the jump to medium format because I like the idea of what I believe it can give me by way of a slower, less computerised yet still digital process coupled with good detail and dynamic range.
I am not on a huge budget, < £4000 to include body, viewfinder, lens and back. So I know I am going to be purchasing used from a reputable dealer.
I have seen a Hasselblad H4D-50 for £2749 which comes with nearly everything I need bar the glass.
As such that would leave me with ca. £1251 left for a used prime ideally, does anyone have any better suggestions please either on body or glass.
I won't be using it for studio work, I am just a hobbyist so the usual family pictures, days out and a burgeoning interest in macro photography.
I very much appreciate your help, it's a big purchase for me so I thought it makes sense to ask advice.
Kind regards.
Nigel
