Acute Matte 42215 vs. 42204

Except for the split image and microprism, are there any practically relevant differences between the 42215 and the 42204? In particular, are the peripheral parts of the screens the same with regard to brightness and contrast, and hence with regard to the ease with which off-center objects can be brought into precise focus?

Split and micro prism are the difference between 42215 and 42204, both are AM type "D" screens.
