For weeks I tried to get official info about the hood. But nothing.
BTW I never read anything on Hasselblad official page about this comemorative 60 years kit.
I think that this ZV lenses are interesting but not usable for me as I use a 202FA body. And why geting a "c" lens when for the same price you find a CFE ?
However, what about the hood and the 67 E filter ? Nothing nowhere.
For the hood I just found a price here page 3. No pictures no info.
Nothing about filters.
So where to find info on products when the marketing is impossible to undestand: --> ebay ! (Search hasselblad zv).
BTW the "50mm ZV hood" is particulary interesting for a CF 60mm as the hood for the distagon is open to "cover" the biogon lens too.

I'm not in the marketing field, but it seams strange to me that potential custumers need to visite ebay to get product's info !
 
Ah, my apologies for the misunderstanding, Jurgen. I'm still interested in the classic lens performance, so I'll start a new thread.

My understanding is that these ZV "classic" lenses are true to their current brothers.

The original line of silver lenses did not include these focal lengths, which are the more modern designs. Now with the ZV lenses these "modern" designs / focal lengths are now offered to complete the silver range.

Therefore my understanding is that their optical performance is the same as the current optics. I am fairly sure that the original media release info made comments along those lines.

Keep in mind that if as some say, these lenses were Zeiss's initiative, then the optics are more likely the same as the current versions - to do otherwise would surely be cost prohibitive. Anyway I will stand corrected! :)
 
.... and by the way, I forgot to say that many users of the "original" silver lenses rave about their performance.

In fact some of these focal lengths remain optically (design) unchanged today. All that has optically changed in some are the actual glass used; the barrel coating and the glass coatings (I'm not referring to the mechanical designs here).

I missed this earlier post you made - was this delivered with your CFV39? That 50mm lens looks sensational - I am also quite partial to the "orange" (if not red) leatherette body!! :)
 
I doubt that will ever happen. You see, when these lenses were released it struck me that the focal lengths represented lenses / focal lengths not originally available in the original silver lens line up. So the 80mm is already available - so the speak!

Personally I must say I love the design look of these new lenses.
