80mm FE reporting wrong aperture to 203FE

My thread title sums it up: the lens consistently reports an aperture a half-stop smaller than what is set on the aperture ring. The detents seem solid, without a lot of slop. But, for example, at the maximum aperture of f/2.8, the reported aperture (in the LCD display) is f/3.4.

Not sure what else to do on my end other than clean the contacts, which made no difference. This is not happening with my other lenses. The 80 is relatively new to me, and is in other respects in near-mint cosmetic condition.

Anyone seen this before?

The body is due a CLA and focus recalibration so I'm sending the lens in also to have it checked.

Nice to find this place, as a new Hasselblad 203FE owner. Looks like a great resource.

The lens requires a small adjustment to correct the transfer of the aperture setting.
Should not take more than 30 minutes to solve the problem.

If the Swiss importer still offers service for Hasselblad V system it is only a small job to solve this problem.

The ring that corresponds with the transmitter of the F stops needs to be adjusted.
