50 Mp Sensor

hallo,

i just wonder where is the limit, what do we need and who thinks about the amount of data.

canon has a 50mp sensor on their webside.
maybe the quality of this sensor is not the best, but i am sure they work it out...

The current limit lies with Phase One.
They offer the P65 back with 60.5 Mp.
That sensor is the closest thing to a full frame 6x4.5 film gate.
